Purple Sprouting Broccoli Dipped in Boiled Egg

After Devilled Kidneys yesterday another luscious breakfast this morning and a headstart on my five-a-day. Tender stems are sweet and the purple flour heads perfectly soak up the yolk.

All you need to do is soft boil the eggs , put the eggs into a pan of rapidly boiling water for 1.5 mins , add the PSB  for the last 30 seconds of cooking  (the thin stems means thats all it needs) . After cooking I tossed the purple sprouting with a little anchovy sauce, but salt and pepper works too. Just a few more weeks until British asparagus season so that will be the next vegetable dipped in my boiled egg

I just love PSB , so tasty and makes up for the months of vegebox swedes. Thanks for the incredibly flattering writeup on your blog which is so beautiful.

  4. I’d never thought of dipping veggies in my soft-boiled eggs, but it’s a lovely idea! It’s clever to boil it all in one pot too.

  7. Thanks to such an interesting content. I’m not sure if you are aware but Google+ has now introduced Business Pages which are like Facebook’s Fan Pages.

Just though I’d add our 2 cents.
